Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors from 2011, was the founding co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. As Artistic director of SSC she served as SSC's composer, musician and text coach as well as costume/set/music designer. Although she was usually the head of her group, her first directing role was in SSC King Lear.
